The DCD-900NE plays back CD, CDR/RW, MP3, and WMA formats. Or plug in a USB stick to add playback of FLAC up to 192kHz/24bits or DSD 2.8MHz/5.6 MHz.

Built with specifically fitted power transformers and increased physical separation between the different audio and digital boards, reducing both vibration and interference.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice upgrade to my oldie Solid player. Like the ability to use a USB flash drive. Disappointed that it does not recognize CD Text on any CD's (burned or otherwise). My 20+ year old Yamaha player did. Happy with the improvement, but not 'blown away' like some other reviewers noted.

Excellent compact disc player. Will DSD files be played natively to the analog output or will they be transformed to PCM? Thanks for answering.

1) Can I use this as a "transport"? 2) Will this "play nice" with my BOSE Wave's "aux-in" jacks? 3) Can this play CD-R "data discs" with WAV and/or MP3 files on them? 4) Can this play "Enchanced CD" discs? 5) What "repeat play" options are there?

Hello, The DCD-900NE can be used as a transport (by-pasing the internal DAC and sending a straight digital feed into a DAC or an amplifier with a DAC built-in). You can connect the DCD-900NE to a Bose Wave Radio analog AUX input without any issue. CD-R data discs can be played on the DCD-900NE. Repeat functions offer switching between All-track repeat, Single-track repeat and Repeat off. This can also work when in program and random modes.

Hi MikeS2, Unfortunately not. The two brands use quite different IR codes. Both Denon and Marantz reside under the same ownership umbrella, but they do still operate as independent companies.

I have a AVR S760H in remote closet that drives multiple sets of speakers throughout the house and I control the entire settup through HEOS and our cell phones. If I add a DCD 900NE .... can this also be controlled with HEOS and our cell phones?

Hello, If the DCD-900NE is connected a receiver or integrated amplifier with a HEOS engine, then the CDs being played on the DCD-900NE can be fed to your wireless Home speakers throughout your home.
