Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Lil' System I've had this gem for awhile now and it really seems to do everything well. The majority of my listening comes from my Plex server or Pandora, and the sound is amazing. My jazz music sounds awesome, even streaming. The HEOS app for phones/tablets makes it very easy to queue up music, and it allows the user to adjust the EQ from the app. Only (slight) dislike is when playing music from my turntable using RCAs. Sound is washed out a bit, but this was easily solved using an inexpensive Tubed pre-amp I got from Amazon. Together they make old Led Zepplin albums sound better than they did in the '70s.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this system with one drawback This system has performed really well and is the Internet AV receiver I was looking for. HOWEVER, the top controls are pretty much impossible to use as there's no backlighting on the buttons until you press one and then it's dim. Would love for the controls to have backlighting so I could see the controls.

Questions

Hello - can this receiver automatically wake up from standby mode when it detects an audio signal from the TV over optical cable? I would want to use the tv's remote control to power on the TV and receiver versus using two remotes

The previous response has confused me, because my CEOL N10 is doing exactly what Torpedo 9 is querying. I have my TV connected via optical cable, which powers up the Denon when I switch the power on the TV

Will the cd play DTS format cd’s ? CEOL N10

Hello, The CEOL N-10 has a CD transport and therefore will play RedBook CDs and data CDs containing 2 channel music files. A DVD machanism would be required to read a DTS disc, which - unfortunately the CEOL N-10 does not have.

Hello, Yes - the CEOL N-10 can transmit CD and FM/AM to wireless Home speakers. Once you download the free HEOS app, pairing the CEOL N-10 to Home speakers is a quick and straight-forward process. There is also an optional wireless sub-woofer which can be used with the Home speakers. Any powered sub-woofer can be wired to the CEOL N-10. Does the unit digitize audio from the analog RCA inputs? Wondering if using an external DAC would make any sense or if the rca inputs will still go through the internal DAC.

The Bluetooth on my Ceol n-10 cuts in and out. My phone is within 5 feet. I had deleted and re-added the ceol to my phone but still having issue. Help!

Hello, A soft reset might work in this instance. This involves unplugging yourCEOL N-10 from it's power source, leaving it that way for at least 15 minutes, then plugging it back in again. If the problem persists, remove as many ‘Paired Devices’ from your phone’s Bluetooth settings as possible.
