The AVR-X2700H fit the bill perfectly. When I got it home, the set up process was amazingly well organized, with step-by-step instructions displayed on the tv screen. Regardless of expertise, the instructions were easy to follow and ended up with devices working as expected. Included in the set up is a tuning of the speakers in the room, resulting in optimal sound. Bravo Denon!

How can i use AVR X2700H for my dual purpose, given that i have a total of 7 speakers 1) Purpose 1: All 7 speakers should play single background music from single source without surround effects. 2) Purpose 2: normal surround system

Hello, For purpose 1: With your AVR-X2700H, select your desired music source first. On your remote control there is a button at the bottom labeled 'Music'. Pressing this until it reads 'Mult-chnnel stereo' will allow for the same strreo effect through all of your speaker pairs (the center channel plays in mono). This is very useful when listening to music, as it provides a very even balance of sound. For purpose 2: With your AVR-X2700H, select your desired video/game source first. The 'Movie' button allows you to scroll through your surround effects.

If i want to play same stereo playback in 3 zones, can it be the same source like spotify but one zone be playing a different station within spotify?

Hello, The simplest way to do this is to have a wireless 'Home' speaker in the other loctions. The HEOS engine built into the AVR-2700H supports Spotify (and many other popular online streaming services) and allows for wireless Home speakers to be added to your set-up. Each home speaker can be either independantly source-fed (effectively a separate zone speaker), or syncronized with any other Home speaker. On top of that, it saves you having to run speaker wires. You can either stream Spotify through the free HEOS app, or you can stream Spotify from your mobile device via bluetooth to your HEOS-enabled devices such as the AVR-X2700H and wireless Home speakers. Hi. Can I use the AVR-X2700H to setup a 5.2.4 system, or do I need the AVR-X3700H? Also, do you know when Denon will release the 2023 products? Thanks!

Hi OldAVGuy, The AVR-X3700H (or AVR-X3800H) is required for a 5.2.4 set-up. The AVR-X2700H has seven powered channels. As for new additions to the line-up - we only find out a day or two before the rest if the world learns of new product releases.

I want to set up 3 zones (kitchen/ master/ one 1, patio on 1, garage on 1) all to stream music only to wired ceiling speakers. Is this reciever overkill for what i want or is there a better option?

Hello, If you wish to be able to have each Zone being able to individually choose which source is playing, the AVR-X4800H is the first model in out line-up to offer 3 Zone support. https://www.denon.com/en-us/product/av-receivers/avr-x4800h If you only need stereo playback in three locations, but all receiving the same source feed, the PMA-900HNE is a good option as it would not offer unnecessary features such as surround sound processing, HDMI switching and various other AV related features. You will also need a speaker switching box (such as a Niles SS4) so you can select which locations are on or off. Wall-mounted volume controls for each location can be useful too. Can I hook up Denon avr-x2700h to Spotify with me phone without wifi? Moving in few weeks and don't want to open the new receiver unless I can at least use the Spotify until wifi and streaming at new place

How many speakers can this receiver run? Can you play different audio in seperate rooms?

Hello, The AVR-X2700H can power up to seven speakers. The Zone 2 feature allows you to run a pair of speakers in another room playing different audio to what is being heard in the main room. As the AVR-X2700H also has HEOS technology on board, it is able to support our wireless Home speakers. This means you can have up to 32 speakers playing different audio in different locations around the house. This also includes the ability to stream music from many popular streaming services including Spotify, Tidal, Pandora, Amazon Music HD and TuneIn Radio. I need to get the TV audio from the 1700H to the Widex TV assist which will then bluetooth to my hearing aids.  I don't see an RCA out jack  left and right as you recommend.  Suggestions?

I currently own a 1700H but am considering a 2700H.  I need to audio out using RCA cables to a Widex TV assist since I have extreme hearing loss.  The tv assist then blue tooth to my hearing aids.  Can I do it or do you recommend a different model?

Hi StephenB, Both the AVR-X1700H and the AVR-X2700H will give you the same support for your Widex TV Assist. You can use the Zone 2 output for your RCA output feed. Simply press the Zone 2 button on the remote, then select the source you wish to be hearing. Both models have a Bluetooth transmitter for your hearing aids. The differences between the two models is the X2700H has more power, 2 HDMI Monitor outputs and analog video inputs. The AVR-X1700H has 2 extra 8K HDMI inputs over the AVR-X2700H (useful if you are a gamer).
