Rated 5 out of 5 by from Avis-3 Fixed my audio from cutting out and periodic screen distortion when doing 10 bit 4k/120 when connected to my Rtx 3090 via hdmi 2.1. Everything runs flawlessly now which was not the case when connected directly to the receiver or to the free single output avs they sent me.

Will this unit work with a Denon AVR X6500h?

Asked by: eprkeeper
The AVS-3 best pairs with receivers with 8K or 4K/120HZ ability. The AVR-X6500H supports up to 4K/60HZ.

Multiple places in the product listing, it talks about adding HDMI 2.1 ports to "a compatible receiver". But can this be used to connect a PS5 and Xbox/X to a single HDMI 2.1 port on a TV? (ie. no receiver in between). Thx

Asked by: Joel111
Hello, Yes - AVS-3 can be used in the way you describe - without an AV receiver.

Will there be any issues if i connect 2 x AVS-3 together to get 5 8k 2.1 together? Connect (first)AVS-3 to the Denon X6700H and connect the (second)AVS-3 HDMI Out to the (first)AVS-3 port 1?

Asked by: JesusLovesYouAll
Hello, Every link you add to a connection chain has the potential to negatively impact the signal feed. It is recommended to connect them in parallel (one AVS-3 in one of the AVR-X6700H's HDMI inputs, and the second AVS-3 into another of the AVR-X6700H's HDMI inputs) rather than in series.

Asked by: Capg
Hello, Non-CEC connected devices will require use of the remote to select inputs with the AVS-3.

Does this product fix the 8K issue on the receivers with the console issue from 2 years ago like the A110? Or does this box have to be connected to the adapter box that was shipped out for free to correct the issue? Seems like too many connections then.

Asked by: MarM
Hello, The AVS-3 is an HDMI switching box. If you are currently using the adapter box because you have an X-Box Series X console and an 8K Denon receiver which was manufactured prior to May 2021, you will need to continue using the adapter to benefit from 4K/120Hz with an XBox Series X.

My X2600 is having degraded output over50ft signal to projector. Can this fix the issue?

Asked by: ODEJI
Hello, The signal degradation is typically down to the type of HDMI cable being used with long runs. The AVR is merely a hub for the most part. For runs as long as 50 feet, it is a good idea to look at HDMI Baluns (ethernet cable does the bulk of the signal transfer) or optical HDMI.
