Rated 5 out of 5 by from Ótimo som!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from PMA-1700NE Detailed sound and very well built. Pairs nicely with DCD-1600NE CD player. No problem driving my Paradigm Founder floorstanders. Quality product and highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I needed/wanted! My PMA-1700NE arrived today and I am floored. This replaced an NAD C388 and it is one of biggest improvements to my system. It drives my KEF R3 stand mounts like a champ and pairs beautifully with my DCD-1600NE. The built in phono stage is phenomenal! Couldn’t be happier!

Questions

Hi, please let me know if there is any difference in headphone amp output power and headphone amp circuit built into these two amps: PMA-A110 and PMA-1700NE. Also, at 32 Ohms, how much output power built in headphone amps have in both those amps? Thanks!

Asked by: Danijel T
Hello, Both the PMA-A110 and the PMA-1700NE have good quality headphone amplifiers, capable of working well with the majority of wired headphones currently on the market. If you own luxury or high-end headphones - and you wish to get the very best out of them, there are lots of dedicated headphone amplifiers on offer from a large range of manufacturers. Unfortunately, we do not currently offer a dedicated headphone amplifier ourselves.

Hello, I intend to buy a PMA 1700NE, what is the best solution to connect it to my home WIFI ? Thanks

Asked by: Juliano
Hello, As the PMA-1700NE is not a Wi-Fi device, your best option is to use it with a prefered source which has Wi-Fi built-in. One example is the DNP-2000NE (which convenienty offers a variable volume output). Here is a link to the details: https://www.denon.com/en-us/product/network-audio-players/dnp-2000ne/300598.html?dwvar_300598_color=Black

I am looking at the PMA 1700ne and also the PMA -A110. Is the sound between the two of them drastically different or are you paying for better quality components for double the price ? I am using POLK R-700 speakers.

Asked by: SG in AZ
Hello, As much as we have designed the PMA-1700NE to perform exceptionally well at it's price point, the PMA-A110 is still the benchmark integrated amplifier in our line-up - not least from a performance point of view. The big difference being, the more the speakers are demanding of the amplifier (for example with lively source content and spirited volume levels), the PMA-A110 is the best-prepared integrated amplifier in our line-up to handle the workload. How much of a difference you will hear between the two models will be in part down to your system set-up, and also your expectations. Because these two things can vary considerably from person to person, it is not easy to predict what anyone is going to hear with any audio equipment comparison.

Olá, qual a potência em 6 omhs?

Asked by: Cicero RN
Hello, While the PMA-1700NE is well equipped to handle a 6 ohm load, I do not have a listing of the power rating at 6 ohms. Power rating for 8 ohms is 70 watts, and at 4 ohms it is 140 watts. The PMA-1700NE has very high quality power supplies and can handle just about any domestic loudspeaker currently in production.

Hello. I have DCD-1600NE and DRA-800. I'd like to by HIFI amplifier like PMA 1700/1600, but there is couple things which stop me from purches: 1) there is no subwoofer output; 2) input selector on front panel should be like on PMA800/600. Tnx, Alex.

Asked by: alex_s_st
Hello, If your sub-woofer has speaker input ports on it's panel, you can run speaker wire from the PMA-1700NE to your sub-woofer with great results. The input selector dial is the same on the PMA-1700NE as it is on the PMA-800NE, only the selector position is highlighted in the LED display - this allows for greater visibility from around the room for not just the input setting, but also other features selected such as Analog mode and TV Auto-play.
