Analogue Mode allows the PMA-800NE to operate as a purely analogue amp, disabling coaxial and optical digital inputs while you listen to an analogue source. Enjoy your favourite analogue sources with uninhibited clarity and detailed reproduction.

The PMA-800NE includes a phono equalizer that supports input from both MM and MC cartridges. This phono equalizer has high gain, the simple straightforward design of the PMA-800NE phono equalizer significantly improves sound.

The PMA-800NE features three Optical inputs and one Coaxial input and supports PCM signals up to 192 kHz/24 bit. These digital inputs help to improve sound quality of your TV audio, Blu-Ray, media players and more.

Key Technologies

  • Vibration Resistant Design Power transformers are fitted near the bottom and immediately above the insulators to prevent unwanted vibration. The vibration surrounding the chassis is reduced, resulting in pristine sound.
  • HI-Res Audio The ability to decode Hi-Res Audio ALAC, FLAC and WAV lossless files up to 24-bit/192-kHz, as well as DSD 2.8MHz and 5.6MHz tracks (SACD) lets you enjoy each note exactly as the artist intended.
  • Advanced circuitry The circuit patterns have been engineered to make signal paths as short as possible, reducing interference to reproduce sound that’s clean, highly transparent, and faithful to the original recording.
  • MC Phono Preamp Denon Moving Coil (MC) phono preamps feature a low-noise circuit design for minimal signal distortion, and a high-precision equalizer circuit to restore the warmth and natural sound of vinyl.
  • MM-Phono Denon Moving Magnet (MM) phono preamps feature a high-precision equalizer circuit to restore the warmth and natural sound of vinyl, and a low-noise signal path for improved fidelity.
  • Prude Direct Mode Pure Direct mode turns the display and the digital outputs off to minimize interference that might colour the audio signal. What you hear is clean, detailed, accurate sound.
