Hello, Can I build Dolby 5.1.2 config with X2800? Is it also possible to pass L and R channels to external Hi-Fi amp. from X2800 preamp out? Thanks, Yurii

Hello, The AVR-X2800 can be configured for 5.1.2. This link takes you to a page of the manual which details how this is achieved: https://manuals.denon.com/AVRX2800H/NA/EN/DRDZSYiltbhifm.php If you wish to have the ability to add an external power amplifier, a different AVR would be required as the AVR-X2800H does not offer front left and right pre-outs. The AVR-X1800H has front left and right pre-outs, and the AVR-X3800H has a whole bank of pre-outs. Hello, I want to use this product with kef r3 meta speakers as part of the set-up. Can it drive these speakers to their full potential? And is there a dedicated stereo mode for listening to just hi res music? Also is there tidal connectivity?

Hello, The AVR-X2800H is comfortable with the specified speaker load of the KEF R3 Metas. We haven't tested the R3 Metas ourselves, so we are unable to say if the AVR-X2800H can drive the R3 Metas to their full potential. If in doubt, the AVR-X3800H is the next model up. Not only does it offer more clout in it's power delivery, but it also had pre-outs. This will allow you to add optional external power amplification should you so desire. Either way, you have a 60 day return window if you are not completely satisfied. There is a dedicated stereo mode for high res music. There's also Direct Mode which by-passes the porcessor completely channeling the raw source feed through the shortest signal path. Tidal is available using the free HEOS app included with the AVR-X2800H, as are many other popular streaming services.

Hi, Can x2800h drive my Oberon 5, Oberon 1, Oberon Vokal and Oberon Alteco 5.1.2 atmos speaker system easily or should I look for more powerful models?

Hello, Yes - the AVR-X2800H will pair well with the Dali speakers you have listed. The further up our AVR range you go, the more control they will jave on your Dali speakers.

Is the X2800X compatible with a Bose Acoustimass 10 Series 4 speaker system? (5 surround speakers+center) If not, suggestion? Thank You

Hello, While the AVR-X2800H will drive your Bose AM10s, my recommendation is to consider the AVR-X3800H. The AM10s (with the Bass Module) are not known for being the easiest of loads. The AVR-X3800H not only has more advanced power supplies to allow it to cope with a wider range of speaker load, but it also has a full bank of pre-outs. If ever you wish to add external power amplification, the pre-outs make for a significantly impactful upgrade path which doesn't require you to replace your AVR. In short, the AVR-X2800H will be good, but the AVR-X3800H will be better with a set of AM10s.

I have three front speakers (left, center, right) connected via cable to the x2800h. I would like to buy two wireless rear speakers because my setup doesn’t allow for audio cables from rear to the AVR. Is this possible? Which rear speakers should I buy?

Hello, Unfortunately - as with all the speakers for the main zone, the rear speakers will need to be hard-wired to the AVR-X2800H. There are aftermarket wireless kits which can operate in the way you describe, but as we haven't tested any of them, we are unable to make any recommendations. The optional wireless Home speakers which are supported by the AVR-X2800H's HEOS engine work only with a 2 channel source feed and are therefore typically used on other rooms of the home.
