I have a AV Surround AVR S450BT receive. Does it have a balance control on the front or on the remote or none at all ? Also, I have lost my operators Manual. Please forward one to Me. Thank You

hello greetings problem activating hdr

Hello, With the AVR-S540BT, HDR is supported and does need to be activated. We recommend using HDMI Version 2.1 (Ultra High Speed) cables from a reputable brand such as Audioquest to allow for a reliable HDR transfer. The HDR feature is only active if the source material is offering is HDR content.

Hello, I have problems activating the HDR. I previously had a receiver from another brand and it had a standard or improved 4K option and that's how I activated the HDR when using the home theater and being able to activate HDR mode on PS5 and Xbox series

My AVR-S540BT receiver powers on but no out put comes on the screen. I checked all the cables and connection. No screen comes up

Hello, I have a PS4 Pro (4k capable) connected through the 4k hdmi port on my Denon S540BT but it does not transmit 4k video. Is there a firmware update that allows the Denon to stream 4k or is this impossible due to the lacking HDR processing?

I have a tcl Roku tv and a Polk soundbar, can I use the hdmi output arc from the tv, into this and then drive the soundbar along with home theater speakers?

Hi RayZ, Powered Soundbars are designed to be used instead of a receiver because they have their own amplifier built-in. This is why Soundbars are not dessigned to be connected to an AVR.

I have my cable box, a Blu-ray player and 5.1 sound system connected to this receiver. The receiver is connected to the TV using ARC HDMI. I cannot get the TV to play video from my cable box. I choose the correct HDMI on the TV and press the CBL//SAT.
