Rated 5 out of 5 by from House filled with wonderful sound Setup is time consuming but very straight forward. I set up and grouped four amps including Alexa in about one hour. It is a set it and forget it system with Alexa as the DJ. The sound quality is only as good as your in wall/ceiling speakers, I installed B&W wired speakers and the sound quality is absolutely amazing. Next is getting and setting up a Denon HEOS AVR with surround 7.2

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding!!! I am a professional home theater installer and I have installed many of these along with many other HEOS products. The HEOS amp and the entire HEOS line is fantastic!!! If you have had any issues at all or written a bad review, I'm sorry to say that you probably just didn't understand the product or how it works. As I stated before, I have installed many of these and every single customer has absolutely loved it!!! The free app is very simple and works great! The only problem I have ever seen had to do with the network itself, the entire HEOS system runs on the network, so you need to make sure you have a good router. If your router is old, slow, or just not good... well then the HEOS system will not work properly. This is the poor networks fault, not HEOS. I highly, highly reccomed anything HEOS and I love installing it! It's easy to install, easy to use and sounds great! What's not to love! The only thing I'd like to see on this amp, is a low level output.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Sound, easy to use! I use this with a set of Acoustic Landscape outdoor speakers. It is 4 satellites and a sub and it plays plenty loud enough even outside. Amazing power for such a small amp.

Questions

Can this be configured in HEOS app wirelessly to drive a pair speakers (6 ohm load) as my rear companion speakers to my 550 soundbar for my bedroom setup.

Hello. Crutchfield says online that one can power four 8 ohm speakers with one of these amps if you wire the speakers in parallel. Is that correct? Thank you.

Hello, It is recommended to connect only one speaker pair directly to the HEOS Amp. If you wish to connect two pairs of 8 ohm speakers, a speaker switching box with impedance correction is recommended. The SS4 by Niles Audio is one example.

I am considering buying the heos avr but need to know if the AVR would work with using Bose wireless sound bar, Bose wireless surround speakers 700 and denon heos 5 speaker?

Hey Tpaul, No, it would not work. The HEOS AVR will need wired Front L+R and a wired Center. You can use HEOS speakers for the surround L+R. how does this amp control my TV volume from digital tos-link? it is fixed volume on my tv and will not change up and down!
