Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy I'm very happy with my PMA-600NE. I have it paired with Q Acoustic 3030i speakers and Project pro via ifi Zen phono preamp and wiim pro stremer. I also did initially have it connected to Schiit modi dac but A B teated it with internal DAC in PMA-600NE and I could hear any difference so I just now use internal DAC in the denon. Sounds clean and plays loud when I want it too. If I could make minor criticisms, all I would say is I wish visible decibels could be viewed when adjusting volume. I also would have preferred analogue inputs not to have been pre labelled, AUX 1, AU2 etc would have been better. I feel that many people would have liked EQ to been able to be adjusted via remote, especially considering there is a million buttons on remote that have no function at all. However, I don't really care about these things, as overall, I am very happy with my purchase. Highly recommended. Also, I should add that I replaced my AXA35 with the PMA-600NE, despite having paying more for the Cambridge.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amp up your day with this one! Very nice amp, especially for the price. I did not need any of the bells and government surveillance whistles (think ALEXA people) that the next model up had. GREAT DAC, and nice touch with the analog options.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I am very happy I have 2 of them in a passive bi amp setup with Fluance's reference speakers and it sounds fantastic. These amps have everything I wanted. Real buttons to contol volume and tone, lots of inputs, analog and direct mode, bluetooth, DAC, and nice look. The remote is too big and lack bass and treble controls but other than that it is a great integrated amp and very capable of delevering good sound. Having 2 of them in bi amp is amazing, lots of power reserve. I recommend this amp 100%

Questions

Hi, I have an AVR-X1800H in a system with a pair of RP-500M II and I was thinking of using the receiver's pre-outs to dedicate a stereo amp with the fronts. Is it possible to use the PMA600NE for this? Any sound quality advantages doing that? Thx

Asked by: Sergio V
Hello, While the PMA-600NE will allow for use as a power amplifier with this configuration with an AVR-X1800H, you are likely to notice a good deal more control over how your speakers are driven if you were to go with the PMA-900HNE, as it has a higher current delivery.

Hi, Which speakers would you recommend for optimal pairing with the Denon PMA-600NE? Another question would be: which Denon amplifier would you recommend for the B&W 706 S2 speakers?

Asked by: Anonymous
Hello, The PMA-600NE would work very well with the 706 S2, we typically recommend B&W, Polk Audio, and Definitive Technology speakers with our amps. As for the 706 S2s, another good amp to look at would be the PMA-900HNE or the PMA-1700NE.

Is it possible to connect bluetooth headphones?

Asked by: Antonio Jose
Hello, While the PMA-600NE has a Bluetooth receiver built-in, it does not have a Bluetooth transmitter for headphone use. An optional aftermarket Bluetooth transmitter can be added by connecting it to the headphone output. Bluetooth transmitters are easily found on home audio specialist websites such as Amazon.

Hello, I plan on buying Klipsch RP-500M II speakers. Could you kindly tell me if the PMA-600NE will pair well with these speakers? They will be in a room that is approx. 16' x 16' and will be used strictly for music - vinyl and streaming. Thank you!

Asked by: GROSSI
Hello, Good question. Yes - the PMA-600NE will pair very nicely with Klipsch RP-500M II speakers. I recommend 14 or 12 gauge speaker wire.

Will this receiver pair with Boston Acoustic A150 speakers?

Asked by: Ann123
Hello, Yes - the PMA-600NE will pair well with the A150s. If you have a larger room, or you like to play at spirited volume leves, the PMA-900HNE or PMA-1700NE are worth considering to get the best out of your Boston Acoustic as they offer more grip when the source content gets lively.

Will this work with the Kanto YU4 speakers?

Asked by: Chvlr
Holle, Unfortunately, the PMA-600NE is not compatible with Kanto YU4 speakers. This is because the YU4s are powered/active speakers. This means they already have an amplifier built-in. The PMA-600NE requires passive speakers.

I Like very much my pma 600 ne, My question is it is possible to used on mono. Ad like to use two of them for make my kef q550 moove. one buy side. I use with tecnic sl 1200 mkii buy new and ortofon concorde club and pm 640

Asked by: arm67
Hello, You can use two PMA-600NE as mono devices. This would require you to simply connect each PMA-600NE with one channel only. You may want to consider having them stacked so you can use an elastic band to connect the two volume dials to make volume adjustment synchronized.
