Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super sonic Great sound and low frequency response. This speaker can get loud! May consider another speaker to pair with for true surround or multi-room but very satisfied right now with just one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Denon Home 250 - Satisfied Excellent spatial sound. Decent bass response. Does what I intended it to do. HEOS app still leaves something to be desired, but it's better than it was.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New Home 250 speaker set Easy set up and convenient music play through Apple AirPlay. The sound quality is excellent! Only issue so far is a slight lag when streaming sound from TV over Bluetooth.

Can I use this as a rear speaker as Dolby 5.2?

Asked by: Mike LArixona
Hello, Any of our Home Speakers will work wirelessy with a compatible Denon or Marantz AV receiver, but only when receiving 2-channel audio feeds. Our wireless Home Speakers (including the Home 250) cannot decode a discrete surround sound channel feed. For speakers in the main Zone for surround sound use, you will need speakers which connect with speaker wire.

I ordered a AVR-S660H and the HOME 250 with the hope that I could pair the HOME 250 with the AVR-S660H while also playing through a set of wired speakers. The intention is for this to be one zone. Will this work?

Asked by: MoiW
Hello MoiW, The Home wireless speakers - including the Home 250 - are designed to be used to play 2 channel audio feeds. They do not support discrete surround sound channels. All surround speakers need to be passive speakers and connected the AVR-S660H with speaker wire. You can enjoy any source you choose with the Home wireless speakers, regardless of what audio is playing in the Main Zone.

I have never set at up a home entertainment system.  Can the 250 or 350 be used for the front right and left speakers and be hardwired to a Denon to 2700 to the Front Left and Right Jacks.

Asked by: the formulator
Hello, The Home 250 wireless speaker is designed to work with a 2 channel signal only. It is not designed to receiver a discrete surround channel feed, or a feed from an amplified speaker output port. The speaker output ports on any of our AV receivers are for passive speakers only. As the Home 250 has a built-in amplifier, it qualifies as being a powered speaker.

I have a Denon AVR-S720W receiver. I want to get away from the wired speakers. Will the wireless speakers you have work with my system?

Asked by: Herm44
Hello, Our wireless Home speakers work great for use in rooms where a two channel signal is being received. Our wireless Home speakers do not support a discrete surround channel feed. All speakers in the surround set-up have to be hard-wired to the speaker ports on the rear of the AVR-S720W. There are some after-market speaker manufacturers who claim theirs work with surround systems, but as we haven't tested any of them, we cannot comment on how well they may work.
