Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Speaker for a nightstand The features and technology are exceptional. Wifi connected and access to NAS music files are a game changer. I would love to have a firmware upgrade in the future to turn off the LED during sleep (can do manually) and add a 5 band graphic equalizer. Oh yeah, sounds pretty good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sounding extension speaker WiFi speaker is a great extension to my Denon sound system, Love that they are WiFi and can be placed anywhere in my house or on my deck ( weather permitting) to listen to my music everywhere. Great sounding, high quality speaker, as well as being the best and much better than any other portable speaker that I have ever tried. Highly recommend any of the Denon Home speakers for wireless Music. The only issue that I have had is that the Android app for controlling things is still glitchy at times and still not easy to navigate. love this speaker.

Questions

I have two 150 speakers set up as a stereo pair for use with AirPlay, but the pairing constantly stops working. When that happens, one of the speakers goes silent. Sometimes it comes back eventually, but sometimes not. What can I do?

Asked by: atomicbird
Hello, Home speakers certainly benefit from a strong Wi-Fi feed, or being hardwired to the router. If you are using a router which was provided by your Internet Service Provider or a model which is more than three years old, upgrading could well make all the difference. If you already have an upgraded home network, a reset of your router (unplugging it from it's power source for at least 60 seconds) and/or reseting your Home 150 pair of speakers could be worth the effort. To reset your Home speakers, press the two hard buttons on the rear panel for several seconds (until the front light flashes). From there, go into 'Settings' and select 'Add Device'. Following the instructions from there is required. If the symptom persists, here is a link to our Customer Care Team. They are on hand to assist: https://www.denon.com/en-us/support/contact-us.html

I have a pair of Home 150 and use them with Tidal as a stereo pair. Can I also use the AUX input as a stereo mode? Would I need a splitter or some sort or could I just feed the input to one speaker?

Asked by: tidaluser1
Hello, Good question. Yes - you can feed the one AUX input with a stereo source of one Home speaker and it will work as any other source in stereo mode. No need for a splitter to hear the benefit of having a paired set of Home speakers.

Playing vinyl to my 150 speaker through my HEOS enabled receiver

Asked by: Dugh
Hello, All our current model AVRs with HEOS engine have a phono stage built-in. This means a turntable with a moving magnet or high output moving coil cartridge can be directly connected to all our current model AVRs which support HEOS.

Will these speakers work with my DHT-S517

Asked by: Tonythetigerr
Hello, Unfortunately, the DHT-S517 doesn't support use of the Home 150 as it does not have a HEOS engine built-in. The Home 550 Soundbar has a HEOS engine built-in, and supports the use of the Home 150. Here is a link to our Home 550 Soundbar: https://www.denon.com/en-us/product/sound-bars/denon-home-sound-bar-550/300052-new.html

Hi i have a Denon S760H receiver. I now need to set up my speakers for my home theatre system Can I connect the Denon Home 150 to the receiver to et up my home theatre?

Asked by: Oldmonk
Hello, The AVR-S760H supports the use of our Home Speakers, including the Home 150. This use however, is for sending a 2 channel feed to the Home speakers which are designed to be placed in a location other than the surround set-up room. Any Main Zone speakers (in the surround set-up) would need to be connected to the AVR with speaker wire, as a discrete surround channel feed cannot be fed wirelessly from the AVR-S760H, or any of our AV receivers with a HEOS engine built-in.

Hello! Do we need to use HEOS to play music, or can we control the speaker(s) without the app using bluetooth (or wifi), etc?

Asked by: mikemoo
Hello, Yes - you can play music without using the HEOS app. Bluetooth and Airplay 2 are options, or you can connect a source using the 3.5mm analog input on the rear panel of the Home 150. Volume can be controlled using the up and down 'buttons' on the top of the Home 150, or from your source.
