These AH-GC30 headphones recently stood out from the rest for value for money and performance. I have known the high audio and construction qualities of Denon products since 1974. This pair of headphones continues to prove this reputation. I wore these headphones for nearly 7 hours of a transatlantic flight and enjoyed every minute of the musical sound clarity and range from opera classics through blues to heavy rock.

Are there any plans to release a new version of these headphones, with the modern usb type c connector and possibly a better battery life ? I have the ah gc 20's and they sound great, but they are starting to show their age. . .

Specs say up to 20 hours. Is that with NC active or inactive, while listening at a moderate volume level, and while connected via Bluetooth? Can they also charge while being used if using an external battery/power source?

Hello, Up to 20 hours is possible with the AH-GC30. The least amount of battery-draining operation would be required to get the longest usage time between charges, so this would include inactive NC. Charging while listening is also possible.

Are these capable of cutting out wind noise when outside?

Hello, The AH-GC30 does have noise-canceling as a feature. Wind noise is included, although because noise canceling occurs with certain (not all) frequencies, there can be instances where wind noise will still be heard.

Are the AH-GC30 ever going to be available again or are they getting replaced with a newer product? I had one on order, Denon accepted the order but within a week or so of the order, Denon cancelled it.
