The Denon DVD-1800BD is featured in the March issue of "Widescreen Review."
"There's no doubt that the DVD-1800BD does a fine job on both the audio and video for both high-definition Blu-ray and standard-definition DVDs. Video processing is good, but falls a bit short of the higher-end models that include the Silicon Optix HQV processing. The lack of Profile 2.0 support may be an issue for some, but in my case, I'm lucky enough to find the time to watch the film, let alone spend a lot of hours playing with the interactive extras. [...] The inclusion of SD card support for picture and WMA/MP3 playback is a nice feature that sweetens the pot a bit for potential purchases." (Mike Marks)
